Tel-Hai College is a leading public academic institution in Israel's Upper Galilee, serving approximately 4,500 students across life sciences, social sciences, computer science, and the humanities. Located at Israel's northernmost border near Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, it is uniquely affiliated with MIGAL - Galilee Research Institute. In January 2026, the Council for Higher Education officially recognized its transformation into the University of Kiryat Shmona in the Galilee (effective 2026–27).
