Accessibility Statement

Updated on: July 3rd, 2023

Israel Innovation Institute is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

It must be noted that despite our efforts to make all the pages on the site accessible, you might encounter areas of the website that are not yet accessible. We continue our efforts to improve the site’s accessibility, as part of our commitment to enable its use by the entire population, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility on Israel Innovation Institute Website

We strive to make the Israel Innovation Institute website accessible to individuals with disabilities. Here's how we achieve that goal:

  1. Standards compliance: We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA to ensure our website is accessible. These guidelines are internationally recognized and provide a framework for making web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

  2. Screen reader compatibility: We have designed our website to be compatible with screen reader software, enabling people with visual impairments to access and navigate the content effectively.

  3. Keyboard navigation: Our website supports keyboard navigation, allowing users who cannot use a mouse to navigate through the site using only the keyboard.

  4. Clear and concise content: We strive to present information on our website in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that it is easily understandable by all users, including those with cognitive disabilities.

  5. Alternative text: We provide alternative text descriptions (alt text) for all meaningful images on our website. This ensures that users who rely on screen readers or have images disabled can understand the content.

  6. Color contrast: We have carefully selected color combinations to ensure sufficient contrast between the text and background, making the content readable for users with visual impairments.

  7. Resizable text: Our website allows users to increase or decrease the font size to accommodate their individual needs.
