Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya) is Israel's first and only private research university, founded in 1994 by Professor Uriel Reichman and located in Herzliya. Modeled on leading Ivy League universities, it received full university status from Israel's Council for Higher Education in August 2021, now hosting over 8,400 students across ten specialized schools and an international program that attracts students from more than 90 countries.
