Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fish is produced and sold in Israel by "Dan Fish Farms" owned by Kibbutz Dan in the Upper Galilee. The fish is grown in the cold and clean waters of the Dan river and is sold throughout Israel by marketing companies as well as by direct sales of wide varieties of products. Dan Fish Farms has also been involved for many years now with R&D and is open to collaboration with relevant organizations on science and business development.
